From Our County Commissioner

Hello and a warm welcome to Middlesex East, a busy and thriving county in North London.  We provide Girlguiding in the Boroughs of Barnet, Brent, Enfield and Haringey.

As of July 2019 we have 170 units across 9 Divisions. The Divisions are Barnet, Edmonton, Enfield, Finchley & Friern Barnet, Haringey, Hendon, Wembley and Willesden.

We have 37 Rainbow units, 71 Brownie units, 44 Guide units and 18 Ranger units as well as our newly formed County Ranger unit who meet a couple of times a term for a day or weekend.

We are one of 19 Counties that represent London and South East England Region known as LaSER.

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers; being a volunteer does not necessarily mean a regular weekly commitment but could include helping at residential events, assisting with admin and finances. We’re flexible! So if you think you would like to join our fantastic team of volunteers please visit

If you are already one of our volunteers, here’s a Big Thank You for everything you do, week in week out to provide a safe, enjoyable environment for our young members.
